Lead vocalist/guitarist, Jamie Baker, created 240 Loop on a Starbucks patio in the Fall of 2010 in Memphis, TN. Between 1992 - 2006, Jamie recorded 5 full length CD's and toured in the christian music industry opening for artists such as The Newboys, Rebecca St. James, Clay Crosse, Mark Blackwood and The Blackwood Brothers Quartet, Brothers Keeper, Code of Ethics, Jonathan Pierce, Skillet, Natalie Grant, Brian Free and Assurance, and many others. In September of 2006, Jamie changed directions and concentrated on using his vocal talents mostly around the Memphis, TN and surrounding area for weddings, corporate events, festivals, church music leadership, club dates, and acoustic performances at coffee houses (to many to name). This was an important time in his life which allowed him to recall the many styles of music that influenced him growing up and would encourage him to share his voice to those who be willing to listen ( styles from Motown, Stax, Disco, Funk, Country, Pop/Rock, Gospel, Jazz, R&B & even a little Hip Hop ). Jamie's latest creation, 240 Loop, consists of all those styles mentioned and the band continues to win audiences of all ages. Jamie also spends a great deal of time djing many events and receptions as well. He is extremely excited about the future of 240 Loop and the many doors of opportunity which wait up ahead.

Lead vocalist, Elizabeth Baker has a church choir background as a child moving up to teen years. Elizabeth also participated in many theatre productions as a vocalist. 240 Loop has allowed Elizabeth to show her vocal range capabilities while singing to wonderful audiences. 240 Loop is proud to have "the girl in the band"

Lead Guitarist, Garry Shriver has been playing guitar for over 30 years. He enjoys teaching guitar lessons to key players around the city. He is involved with Vox Anima as an instrumental group writer and arranger. Garry has Theatre orchestra experience with several Memphis area production companies including: Harrell Theatre, Germantown Community Theatre, and Bolton High School Stage Light Theatre. Over the years, Garry has given his talents to numerous weddings as an acoustic player along with World Coffee Shop/Restuarant Tours. Grace Evan has shined with the multiple music projects Garry has contributed to as a songwriter and arranger. Not only does Garry play acoustic guitar with 240 Loop, he also plays the banjo, mandolin, and bass guitar. Garry has a fingerstyle acoustic guitar CD called "Lights and Shadows" that is available on itunes. A Celtic instrumental album called "Jubliant Fields" shows the many talents of 240 Loop's very own Garry Shriver.

Carl Johnson is the newest member of 240 Loop as the bass guitarist. Carl started playing bass at the age of 13 with "The Coachmen 5" in Mercer, PA. While he was attending college at the University of Texas (Austin, TX), he played with "Zeus, Denim, and the Fox and the Clouds. After college while living in Houston, TX and New Orleans, LA, Carl joined "Heaven the Band". Moving up the Mississippi River to Memphis in 1983, Carl has played with many local bands such as "Trademark", "Jay and the Move", "Radio Rodeo", "Bird on a Wire", and "Robbie and the Bandanas". Carl is motivated to bring exciting brands of music to the Regional Market. Carl is welcomed by 240 Loop and is proud to call him a member of our team.

240 Loop's drummer is involved in many projects around this region that has allowed him to expand his percussion career over the past decade. Mike Assad graduated with a Bachelor's Degree of Music at the University of Kentucky. He then moved up to a Masters Degree in Music form the University of Memphis. He also teaches drum set and ethnic drumming at the University of Memphis and Rhodes College. He has performed with the Memphis Symphony Orchestra, the Memphis Jazz Orchestra and the Corinth Symphony Orchestra. Mike is currently a member of the University of Memphis’s Faculty Jazz Ensemble and Birth of the Cool Ensemble. Mike has played with numerous jazz bands around town. 240 Loop is very happy to have Mike keep our time!
