Milwaukee Reporter: "It is snowing and it sucks here"
This week in the world of brutally honest/awesome reporting, we bring you Angelica Duria from WITI, Milwaukee's news leader.* Frustrated after spending her entire morning in the cold while reporting during a storm, Duria lost her patience and essentially took a shot at her producers during a 9:45 a.m. hit. After saying "it sucks here" she's given a standing ovation by the studio crew safely inside the warm, comfortable studio. It'd be great if ...

Is this the dumbest question in ESPN history...
Yes. This question, "How much do you blame Jay Cutler for RG III's injury," is so utterly useless it is causing me to physically lose brain cells by the second just contemplating how anyone could put those words together in that order and display it on national television. Blame Jay Cutler? As if Jay Cutler frowns and knee ligaments are shredded halfway across the country? Is everything in this country from RGIII's knee injury to the low approv...

Bobby Valentine is moving back to the media... but not with ESPN
Bobby Valentine's one year tenure as Boston Red Sox manager was one of the biggest crash and burn jobs in the last several years. The Red Sox went from AL East contender to AL East cellar dweller and had their worst season in almost 50 years. Valentine made the return to the bench after a stint on ESPN as a Sunday Night Baseball analyst. Now, Bobby V is making the quick turnaround back to the media after being a bust in Beantown. More good stuff for youth leaders.
The Slowly Deflating Youth Group by: Cassie Moore
It's one of the most embarrassing and difficult things to admit, in the world of youth ministry. You really only confide in your closest friends about it. And even then, you feel guilty about it. It's one of the things that keeps us up at night. And keeps us reading articles and blogs about how to deal with it. Some of us walk away from youth ministry because of it. Some of us lose our jobs over it. It's the problem of the "Slowly-Defla...

Good stuff for youth leaders.
Who's Teaching You? by: Matt Behrens
You don't go to Willie Nelson for tax advice. You don't ask John McEnroe to teach anger management classes. Nobody's asking a leader from BP to speak at the next Earth Day festival. So, when it comes to youth outreach maybe we can be a little bit choosy as well. That's something I've had to learn. "He's a really great DCE!" does not necessarily mean he's great at outreach, just like "He's a great Pastor!" does not always mean he's a great singer...

U.S. President Barack Obama is TIME's person of the year for 2012.
