Nissan R390 GT1 Le Mans 98 (Tamiya/Renaissance 1:24)
One of my old ones.

Base is the Tamiya kit of the Nissan R390 of the year 1997.
I used the transkit of Renaissance to built this model car.
The clearparts didn´t fit to the body, so I decided to work with the Tamiya body.
So I cut off the wrong body parts and used parts of the resin body.

The body is painted in 2 colours, white and the dark blue areas.

Historic Motoring Awards
Le Mans Classic & Chantilly Arts & Elegance

On Thursday November 20th, the evening of the International Historic Motoring Awards 2014, London’s St. Pancras Renaissance Hotel received the international historic cars' ‘Who’s Who’ with its panel of familiar faces and household names who bring the legend to life. Le Mans Classic and Chantilly Arts & Elegance Richard Mille were awarded. These awards are to motor racing what Oscars and Césars are to the cinema -the highest possible form of recognition for the year's most remarkable people and events, awarded by their peers.

Le Mans Classic (organised in partnership with the ACO) and Chantilly Arts & Elegance Richard Mille were finalists in each of their categories and were awarded respectively the Motoring Event of the Year and the Motor Sport Event of the Year prizes despite competition from other well-known racing names: Silverstone Classic, Monterey Motorsports Reunion, Grand Prix de Monaco Historique... and the concours of Elegance: Villa d'Este, The Quail, Pebble Beach, Hampton Court Palace.

Although Le Mans Classic, which celebrated its 7th edition in 2014, had already received prizes in the past, it was the first official distinction for Chantilly Arts & Elegance Richard Mille, coming only a few weeks after its first edition. This distinction reinforces, albeit unnecessarily, Peter Auto's spirit of innovation and enterprise in the world of vintage cars
