Since 1981 I have handled numerous advertising and public relations duties at Publishers Clearing House. But the “hands-down” favorite part of my job has been dropping-in on hundreds of PCH Sweepstakes winners all over the USA and delivering roses, balloons and -- ta dah! -- The Big Check. These folks never know the Prize Patrol is coming, so the videotaped surprises you see in our TV commercials are “reality TV” at its best. I keep in touch with our ever-growing family of winners through phone calls, emails and Christmas cards, and they are all tremendously grateful that they (1) entered our sweepstakes and (2) experienced a “winning moment” they will never forget. My hobby of choice is playing the grand piano where I composed PCH’s theme song, “The House Where Dreams Come True.”\n\nFounder of the famous PCH Prize Patrol.
